Optional events are filled on a first come - first served basis and space cannot be guaranteed.

Our headquarters property for ISFR 2014 Ski Week is the Zephyr Mountain Lodge at the base of Winter Park Ski Resort. We will also use Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe (1/2 block away) and The Vintage Hotel, a short gondola ride away. Please ADD your 5/6 day lift ticket pricing of $215 AND your roundtrip airport transportation pricing of $110 to the total due, per person, to facilitate on-line registration process.


Lodging at Winter Park properties will be booked separately by each participant. Please call Winter Park Resort Lodging, 866-239-3989, identify yourself as an ISFR Member, and reference Group Code 3GO8O3 by August 31, 2103; rates will increase on September 1, 2013; you must then ask for Group Code 3GR5PB. You can also book lodging online at http://www.winterparkresort.com/landing-page/international-skiing-fellowship-of-rotarians.aspxA large variety of accommodation at varying prices (see on-line listings), is available allowing you to select the accommodation that best fits your needs: A 13.9% resort fee and sales tax will be added to your room rates.


The package, excluding lodging, lift tickets and round trip airport transportation, is $415 per person. Remember to ADD your 5/6 day lift ticket AND your airport transportation to your total.

SKI WEEK SCHEDULE


SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2014

The FUN starts today in Winter Park, CO. Airport transportation will meet you at Denver International Airport (DIA) on arrival for a scenic 1½ hour drive to Winter Park. Check-in to your accommodation of choice, get settled and ready yourselves for our Welcome Reception at the Derailer Bar at West Portal in the Village at 7 p.m.


SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2014

Breakfast at West Portal Level 6 and off to a fabulous day of skiing just a few steps away. Local Rotarians are waiting to guide you around the mountain; all levels of skiers are welcome. Hospitality Room will be open 10 to 2. For those pre-registered, this evening will be Home Hospitality, a free event but requires pre-registration. You’ll have the option to join hosts offering Super Bowl viewing; please wear your favorite team colors.


MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2014

Breakfast at West Portal Level 6 and another day to ski. Hospitality Room is open 10 to 5. Options today include a Gourmet Cooking class and our first ever DBMF Biathlon Fundraiser. Tonight is our 40th Birthday Dinner Celebration included in your registration fee.


TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2014

Breakfast again at West Portal Level 6, skiing all day, or choose snowshoeing, cross country skiing or a spa day. our hospitality room is open 10 to 4 today. There’s a chance to visit the NSCD for a demo , too. A New option this year is a Progressive Dinner, exploring the numerous food venues in our mountain village.


WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2014

After breakfast at West Portal Level 6, we’ll ski another day and meet local Rotarians for lunch at our Joint Rotary Meeting at The Lodge at Sunspot Restaurant on the mountain. Hospitality Room is open at varying times today from 10 until 7 with the addition of beer, wine and cheese from 4 until 7. An option today is a chance to explore outside Winter Park with a visit to Lonestone Fibre Mill and on to historic Georgetown. We’ll finish the day at our Annual Meeting followed by an optional dinner this evening.


THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2014

After breakfast at West Portal Level 6, it’s another full day to ski Winter Park, experience our Hospitality Suite from 10-4, or choose the option to visit the Coors Brewery and Colorado Railroad Museum. Tonight at 6 is our GALA Banquet, a true black and white affair, at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. Featured will be the ever popular dessert auction as well as silent auction of items you have brought from your hometown/country all to benefit our Davis Boyd Memorial Foundation.


FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2014

After breakfast at West Portal Level 6, it’s our last day to ski Winter Park or choose to ski in Steamboat Springs, just two hours away. Another option is a two hour Snowcat Tour, limited space available. Last chance to enjoy our Hospitality Room, 10 to 7 with beer, wine and cheese available from 4 to 7. For those who choose, a beautiful wine cellar dinner with wine pairings is available at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.


SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2014

Our final breakfast together at West Portal Level 6 this morning and then departures with transportation to Denver International Airport as scheduled. Another wonderful ISFR Ski Week is at its end once again.


Terms and Conditions

Payments: A Registration Fee of $415 should be made immediately to secure your spot at the 2014 ISFR Ski Week. Payments can be made online at: www.isfrski.org; click Events, Winter Park, Register. Or, you can send a check made to ISFR, PO Box 1255, Telluride, CO 81435.

The Package Price and what it includes: The Ski Week package includes Welcome Reception, daily breakfast at West Portal Level 6, 40th Birthday Party Dinner, Annual Meeting , and Gala Banquet; remember to ADD your 5/6 day lift ticket and /or your round-trip transportation between the airport and Winter Park to final pricing. Prices are for registrations received by October 1, 2013. Registrations received after this date must add $40 per person. After December 1, 2013, if space is still available, add $75 per person. You can register by filling out the enclosed registration form or by going on-line to www.isfrski.org, then to Events/Winter Park.

Travel Insurance: Tour Cancellation / Interruption insurance is highly recommended.

Single Reservations: Must pay the total room cost

Final Payment: Payment of the final package balance including optional activities, lift tickets, and airport transfers is due by November 30, 2013.

Not Included: Air fare, hotels and taxes, meals other than those indicated, any optional activities as outlined in the Optional Tours Brochure

Baggage: General limitations are two 62” bags at no more than 50 lbs. per bag. Fees may apply depending on airline used. Ski equipment is considered by most airlines to be a part of your normal baggage allowance. Contact your airline for specific limitations.

Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing to Lynne Beck, PO Box 1255, Telluride, CO 81435 or via e-mail to branchm@telluridecolorado.net. From time of deposit until October 1, 2013, there is a $50 Administrative penalty per person. After October 1, 2013, a $300 penalty per person will apply. After Nov. 1 a 100% penalty will apply. Hotel cancellations vary and are separate.

Refunds: There are no refunds for any unused services or missed components of the trip.

Responsibility: Each person making reservations or participating in Ski Week 2014 understands and agrees to all terms, conditions, and limitations set forth in this brochure. In endeavoring to make arrangements with our suppliers for services and accommodations described in this brochure, ISFR acts strictly as an agent for same. ISFR shall not be responsible or liable for, and expressly disclaims any responsibility for any costs, injury, expenses or damage to persons or property which results directly or indirectly from any act, whether negligent or otherwise, of commission or omission, including but not limited to delays of any person, firm or corporation which is, or does provide products or services in connection with this trip. This also includes but is not limited to lodging, food and beverage, entertainment, luggage handling, or escorting. ISFR reserves the right to decline participation in ISFR 2014 Ski Week to any person for non-receipt of scheduled payments as described in this brochure.
