Thank you for your interest in donating to The Davis Boyd Memorial Foundation (DBMF). The focus of the foundation is to raise funds for adaptive ski programs.
During ISFR’s annual ski week, DBMF holds various fundraisers (Peak-to-Valley Challenges with sponsor support and member-sponsored auctions, to name just two) to raise money. A portion of the funds are donated to the local adaptive ski program. DBMF is a United States Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) charity.
Why Adaptive Skiing?
Adaptive ski programs reach a wide variety of individuals, from adolescents to wounded warriors.
“We use recreation, therapy, and continued support to give people of all abilities a better life. Together, we bridge the gap between disability and belonging.”

The Valley to Peak Challenge 2021
In this unusual year without an ISFR Ski Week Gala to support the Davis Boyd Memorial Foundation (DBMF), we ask everyone to consider participating in the DBMF silent fundraising effort aptly named The Valley to Peak Challenge 2021. The Valley is the COVID-induced year of 2020, to what we hope will be the Peak of 2021 and beyond.
Funds raised between now and when we kick off our Ski Week fundraising efforts in 2022 will benefit the Brian Andersen Scholarship Foundation (BASF). Our goal is to increase the corpus of the BASF to $35,000. These additional funds will allow us to provide meaningful scholarships to worthy individuals who cannot afford to participate in Adaptive Ski programs. Sun Valley’s Higher Ground USA will nominate an individual for the BASF scholarship in 2022.
