Thank you for your interest in donating to The Davis Boyd Memorial Foundation (DBMF). The focus of the foundation is to raise funds for adaptive ski programs.

During ISFR’s annual ski week, DBMF holds various fundraisers (Peak-to-Valley Challenges with sponsor support and member-sponsored auctions, to name just two) to raise money. A portion of the funds are donated to the local adaptive ski program. DBMF is a United States Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) charity. 

Why Adaptive Skiing?
Adaptive ski programs reach a wide variety of individuals, from adolescents to wounded warriors.

Fellow Rotarians & Ski Enthusiasts:

On behalf of the Davis Boyd Memorial Foundation (DBMF), I look forward to seeing most of you in Sun Peaks, British Columbia for our 2026 Ski Week in March. The beneficiary organization for this year’s trip will be Adaptive Sports Sun Peaks.

If you do plan to attend, we are actively seeking items for our silent and live auctions. In the same vein if you plan on attending we look forward to your spirited bidding on the items in the silent, live, and everyone’s favorite, our famous desert auction.

Whether you plan to attend or not, please consider a tax advantaged gift to the Foundation. Furthermore, explore the option of an employer match. We can provide any supporting documentation needed to facilitate that with your employer. All of the proceeds are directed towards our purpose of bringing the joy of skiing to those whose physical, mental and emotional challenges would otherwise hinder their participation.

I am also pleased to announce that the DBMF Board voted to donate our 2025 proceeds to the Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports (STARS) to support their adaptive programs! For any of you fortunate enough to attend our 2025 ski week you know just how impressive this organization is and the difference they are making for their participants.
